This book is just as amazing as the first book if not more. When I started reading I got through more than the first half of the book in just a few hours and did not want to put it down, but sleep is important.
After that I was finding time any where I could to read even just a little bit more. I don't normally read on my phone but with this book I was.
I really loved the additional characters in this book and the dynamic it gave the book. This book is a bit different as Matthew was not a prisoner in this book like he was in the first one. But he was not released in the last book, he was rescued. Which means that the incubi are trying to capture him again for High King Malarath as he believes that Matthew does not deserve his freedom and that he is property.
In this book Matthew finds out who his sire and biological mother are, but I don't want to spoil that so you will have to read the book to find out those answers we have all been "patiently" waiting for.
Matthew can't catch a break in life, one thing after the other is going against Matthew until the end of the book. And the story line is amazing at throwing these things at Matthew.
I absolutely can not wait for the next book in the series to come out in 2017!

Army Brat by Lisa Wilde
My first reaction to this book is just "WOW!" I loved this book so much that I didn't want to put it down.
I loved that this book touched on what gay military members went through before DADT was repealed, and I applaud Ms. Wilde in doing her research about the fact.
I also loved that the relationship between the MC's Jordan, and Truman "Tru" was done so well. The instant chemistry with a good build up to a full relationship as both Jordan and Tru knew what could happen if they were to be found out.
With a homophobic father and Army General anything could happen when mistakes are made and hearts are put on the line.
I really don't have any more words because I loved this book so much and just don't know what to say other than this is a must read!!
Though I must warn any who do read to be ready with a box of tissues as I was crying toward the end. I would recommend this book to just about everyone.

Trick Play by Alison Hendricks
This third installment in the Eastshore Tigers series is fantastic!!
Luke and Brandon have been best friends for years and decided to go to the same college to get away from their small minded home town. But their trick play backfires when parents get involved.
This is an amazing friends-to-lovers book which the author does very well in this and the previous two novels in this, her debut series.
I really enjoyed this book and ended up reading a majority of it in about a 2 hour span of time not realizing how far I had actually gotten and didn't in that moment have time to read more when I really wanted to.
This is definitely a book that I would recommend and one that you are going to need some tissues for toward the end, as I was tearing up for the last couple chapters.

Hide and Seek by TM Smith All Cocks Book 6
This series just keeps getting better and better!!
In this continuation of the All Cocks Series Dusty is in a bit of a predicament. How does he tell all of his All Cocks family that he is dating the brother of the guy that turned Gabe's, and Kory's lives upside down?
Be prepared to use a lot of tissues with this story.
This really is an amazing story for both of these men. And they have their ups and downs just like the rest of the men in relationships at All Cocks, and then Dusty's parents drop a bomb on him that throws him for a huge loop.
David has to overcome so much that it is hard to believe that he is still who he is. But he overcomes the hate and violence more than once and is still as lively as ever.
This story sends a powerful message that love will overcome hate and violence whatever the circumstances may be.
Great job TM Smith!! I can't wait for the next book!
There are graphic flashbacks and other graphics in this story.

Where Doubt Remains by Sharon Johnson
This book is just as amazing as the first one was....
It picks up just after the first book with DeMatteo and the pride trying to save Sean. This book has so many twists and turns as everything is revealed as to why these crazed hunters are really after DeMatteo and Sean in particular.
This book does have a few time jumps so you have to pay attention at the beginning of sections and chapters as to what the date is, but with this we get to see the birth of the Alpha pair's first litter and why they are so special becomes quite obvious soon enough.
Hugh, Sara and the rest of the hunters still remain on the task of trying to eliminate the pride, and this time they have a little more help... even from inside the pride.
I don't want to give anything away so I really can't say much more other than this book is amazing and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
This book does also end in a cliffhanger though not as big as the first.

Beyond A Reasonable Doubt by Sharon Johnson
This story was very suspenseful for me. In saying that, I could not put this book down. I read the entire thing in approx. 6 hours.
This story is filled with very overprotective alpha lions, witches, some brainwashed hunters and a very psychotic lion who thinks he has been wronged.
I love DeMatteo and Sean. DeMatteo, a very good divorce attorney, has known he was gay for a long time and has been actively looking for his mate. Sean, a junior partner at his father's law firm, has only ever had relationships with women but that doesn't stop him when he feel an instant attraction when the two lawyers meet for the first time and sparks fly.
Both MC's are in current relationships when they meet and when both break up with their current flames, neither one takes it very well.
This book does have a cliffhanger ending but there is a second book to this story. I usually want to have an HEA or at least an HFN ending but this was still a good book regardless of the ending.
There are some grammatical and tense errors but nothing so bad that my mind couldn't overlook it. And I am usually one of those people that can't stand grammatical errors and end up stopping to fix the error in my head before I can continue.

Captive: Beautiful Monsters Vol. I by Jex Lane
I didn't know if I was going to like this book or not but I took a chance and decided to try it. I do have to say that the first part of this book put me in a funky mood and it took me a little bit to get out of it. This is a bit darker read than what is normal for me but I really liked this book all the same.
The characters are really well developed in my opinion and the storyline is awesome as well.
I really liked the fact that the author developed the MC throughout the whole book. I think part of why I was in a funky mood after about the first quarter of the book was because Matthew was in a funk and it put me there too as Ms. Lane does an amazing job following the psychological effects everything has on him.
Matthew doesn't have the easiest time after being turned and then abandoned by his sire, so when he finally does find someone to talk to and help him be what he is he can only hope that his life will get easier.... and at this point hope is all he has.
After learning some new information Matthew doesn't know who to trust, but eventually it becomes very clear who can actually be trusted.
This book is quite long and I suggest having a large block of time to be able to just read this book. At some points I didn't want to put it down and others I wanted to chuck my laptop across the room, but all in all I can't wait for book 2.

Live for Love by TM Smith All Cocks Book 5
When you have a bull headed Cajun that pushes everyone to
arms-length and a man that's not afraid to go after what he wants something is
going to have to give.
Beau is a man that has gone through heartache once and
doesn't want that to happen again.
William, a model at All Cocks, is looking to find someone to
eventually settle down with and when he spots Beau (Mr. Motorcycle Man) at
Tristan's office he just has to have him.
Being that William is not a small man himself he is
constantly mistaken for a top... but that is totally untrue. In the previous
books the other guys that work at All Cocks describe him as "a big nelly
bottom" and that's exactly what he is.
Beauregard Boudreaux has a secret that only a few people
know.... And that secret is why he keeps everyone at arms-length and what he
feels will ruin his relationship with William.
This story is very well written, I read it in a matter of a
few hours, I just did not want to put it down. I love that this author did so
well with the issue in the book. She really did her research and did the
characters justice in my opinion. This issue hasn't been dealt with in any
other books that I have read and it was done very well.
I already can't wait for the next book!!

Dare to Hope by TM Smith All Cocks Book 4
With more people in a relationship than normal comes more fighting the relationship they all want that none know the others want.
I really like this book because Gabe, Micah, and Tristan go from being friends to lovers.
Gabe and Micah have loss on the forefront of both of their minds and they bond over that. And that is where Tristan comes in as the therapist.
This story is very well written and a bit longer than the other books in the series so far as it takes a while for the full relationship between these three to come to fruition. Which in my opinion makes it all the better because that says that they author didn't want to make a certain amount at the cost of leaving something out.
It does take the MC's a bit of time to figure out their feelings for one another and the fact that they all are feeling the same thing... the pull between all three of them.
It also takes some time for Gabe to get over the loss of his lover before he can delve into a new relationship.
There isn't an over-abundance of sex again which is nice, and since only Micah is working at All Cocks there are only a few scenes not between the MC's.
There are some sad parts as Gabe gets over Gio, and as Micah attempts to get his PTSD under control as he does have a few flashbacks and is using a type of therapy to help. Most of the book though is happy as the MC's get to know one another.

How to Deal by TM Smith All Cocks Book 3
Where do I start with these two stubborn men...
Being brought up both Irish and Italian Detective Jon Brennan is very stubborn, which works in his favor with the likes of Kory White.
Kory had a lot of heartbreak in his past which makes him push away anything that might be good in life for fear of being hurt once again.
But together they make one hell of a couple.
Kory tries many times to push Jon away but Jon is in this for the long haul and makes sure Kory is too.
This story is very sad a few points when Kory is telling the story of his past but with the sadness comes some extra happiness that none of the All Cocks guys were expecting.
This book is probably one of my favorites and right now my favorite of this series. I don't know exactly why but it is.
In my opinion there isn't an over-abundance of sex since there is only two scenes in this book that are not between the MC's.

Fame and Fortune by TM Smith All Cocks Book 2
In this second book in the All Cocks series we get to see how the trio that runs All Cocks gets started.
This book follows Victor, Andrew. and Mattie, and how they came to be the throuple they are. This book spans over years and I think that the author does a very good job in going back and showing how it starts with Victor and Andrew meeting and then years later when Mattie enters their lives that they have the same pull toward him as they did to each other when they met.
There is a decent amount of sex in this book and being that these are the guys that run the company there isn't much on camera stuff with the MC's. There are a few scenes with Mattie but nothing major like the last book.
Being as young as Mattie is, he has a very horrible past that he has to deal with before they can even start a relationship, part of that being that he needs to tell Victor and Andrew what happened.
This book is sexy as hell in some parts but there is some very sad point when Mattie is telling his story. Once Mattie's story is told it does become a lot more happy and sexy book.

Gay For Pay by TM Smith All Cocks Book 1
Let me just start off by saying that I had to read this series twice before I could actually write my review because the first time I got so carried away and loved the characters so much that I just read all of the books back to back without stopping and so I knew after that, that I couldn't do the review without stopping.
This is sort of a GFY, as this is Chris' first same-gender relationship but in the book he does eventually define himself as bi-sexual.
I really like this book and the fact that even though they are in the porn industry that there isn't an unreasonable amount of sex scenes throughout.
The back-story is given for both of the main characters, Chris/Kris, and Lincoln/Linc, and while they have both been through a lot, and some very tragic events, together they are the best they can be. They bring each other alive again.
There are some very sad and emotional points it the book but the rest is very sexy, and happy.
The guys of All Cocks are a family, and after Chris' past the best decision he made was picking up a flyer from a club advertising All Cocks looking for new models. Chris not only gets some much need money and friends. he gets a lover and a family.

False Start by Alison Hendricks
The first thing I am going to say about this book is that the author did an amazing job again.
I absolutely loved Strong Side and this being the next book in the series is perfect. I love that there are problems and that it wasn't all just good from the start.
We met one of the MC's, Dante in Strong Side. He is a LB and is Jason's best friend. Of course when the book starts Dante thinks he's straight. He soon realizes that's not as true as he thought it was when he meets Mitch. Mitch is also a LB, and is also 6'3" just like Dante. When Mitch "messes up" a play in practice Dante gets pissed, mainly because Mitch is his only real competition for a starting spot.
That starts them off to be rivals for a bit, then turns to friends and then a bit more than friends. When they finally feel like they are on steady ground drama ensues when Dante goes home with Mitch for Christmas. When he realizes they are even farther apart than he thought, and that most of Mitch's family is poison he does what he thinks is best. That doesn't mean that it is.
Also like the first book there isn't a lot of sex which is big thing for me, I don't like when authors add unnecessary sex scene and this is one of those that just lets the story be told. There are a few sex scenes, and they are necessary to show the development of the relationship between the MC's.
This is definitely a must read. It can be read as a standalone but the first book is great as well and I recommend both.

Prince Ladon and His Omega by Freya Kith

I really liked this story, its different than the Mpregs that I had read in the past because usually they just ghost over the birth part. This one however does not. There are some bumps in the road between the MC's, quite a few because of what happened 20 years ago when there was a war started in the European dragon shifter community.
Avery is a very independent person ever since he could be, since he was never aloud to be when he was in the system in the home, he was forced to go to doctors and had no idea what was wrong with him, when he aged out of the system and left the home he never looked back. When Ladon comes along all he wants to do is protect and take care of his mate, easier said than done when dealing with someone who has only known independence for a few years and wants to keep it that way. Ladon hasn't spoken to his friends or family since he went against his father and left his home. Now he will do anything to help save Avery from an implant that is making him sick.
There are some bumps in the road, including a pregnancy that neither of them knew could happen, but both needed.
* There is a very detailed birth scene, and a HEA.
This is a very good start to a new series

What Happened Then by Ada O'Flaherty
This book was a little different than what I normally read, but decided that it sounded good so I gave it a try. This book was a bit slow at first, it took me a while to really get in to reading it but once I did I really liked it. There are some up and downs in this book but its all worth it for the characters in the end.
** Contains Spoilers Below**
Ian Carsdon is one of the youngest professors to be hired at the college where he works.
Ian seems to have a crush on two of his students... one female, one male though he doesn't believe that he is gay. Ian was abused as a child and that has led to him not being able to be satisfied without having to go to a Dom to beat it out of him, and he can't even do that sober. Little does he know that the male student that he is attracted to follows him to the BDSM club where he is a member.
Raphia is just the Dom that Ian didn't know he wanted or needed to help him overcome life's obstacles.
When Ian learns the truth about his childhood abuse, and that his abuser was being abused by two different people he struggles with the fact that his brother saved him from a lifetime of agony. When he tries to get justice for himself and his brother he is badly beaten by a bunch of rugby players.
Will Ian finally be able to see that being gay isn't bad at all, since in actuality it's the best thing that has happened to him? You will just have to read to find out.
Not a book I would recommend to start out reading M/M but a good book to read if you like angst.
** Warning** there are gay slurs used, some BDSM, childhood abuse, and a watersports scene.

Fated for the Dragon (Dragons of Lake City Book 4) By Kellan Larkin
This wasn't my first book by this author and it won't be the
last.
Sam is a wolf shifter, undergraduate student at Waters Shifter
College studying shifter archeology.
Stephen is the hunky professor, which Sam needs a
recommendation from to get into graduate school.
I love the way that Sam and Stephen's relationship develops.
They don't just give in the first time they lay eyes on each other...which
would be weird if they did because it's in class. They build a friendship
working closely after Stephen picks Sam as his student to be his assistant on
his next dig. And Stephen doesn't just pick Sam because he likes him; he is
genuinely the best candidate for the job.
After spending so much time together alone, they just can't
deny their mutual attraction.
Sam didn't think that he could love another after a tragic
accident takes away his best friend and fated mate.
But after one night that is against school policy, Sam has
to decide whether he can be with another person other than who he imagined
spending forever with for the sake of the child inside of him.
After a while Sam realizes that his fated mate would want
him to be happy, and not alone like he had been since the accident.
Soon attraction turns to love and all that matters is the
three of them.

Strong Side by Alison Hendricks
This is a great book, and a great first book by this author.I really liked the fact that the author kind of switched the roles of who was okay to let everyone know the MCs are together. That is something that I hadn't really seen yet all of the books that I have read the one that knows he is gay is usually the one pushing for them to be out and open, but this is very refreshing.
Granted I understood the reluctance of Derek, with having gotten hurt in HS because of being gay, with his teammates finding out that he is gay. I really liked the dynamic between Jason and Derek and that Derek was patient with Jason and didn't just try to push everything at once.
Even with the MCs being in college there really isn't a lot of sex scenes in the book which I also really liked. There is a real storyline and not just the two MCs getting together and sex all the time. Especially since their teammates don't know till after the halfway point that they are even together. For me I like books that aren't all about the sex and more about the characters.
I could not put this book down. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into reading M/M or anyone that likes a good storyline with a little bit of sex thrown in.

A Royal Craving by Elaine White
This book is different than what I normally read, as its a futuristic vampire story, but I am in love with this story and this author. At first I didn't know if I liked when the story switched perspectives from different characters, but in the end it makes the most sense so that the reader gets all of the perspectives to understand what is going on in the minds of the major characters involved.
This is such as an amazing story that I am so happy that Elaine decided to share this with us as she was unsure whether or not to share this as it is an Mpreg, and it is one of the best ones I have read.
I cant wait to read more by this amazing author.
