Final Stretch (Glen Springs Book 1) by Alison Hendricks

One of my favorite things about this authors books is that she makes the characters real people. They have their ups and downs not only in their relationship but in life.

And some people have some bigger ups and down than the rest of us, like a when a celebrity football player has a sex tape leaked so he decided to lay low with his brother who he hasn't seen or talked to in long time.

In this book there is not only relationship drama there is also family drama which makes the characters all the more real in my opinion.

Remy by the Sea (Men of the Atlantic #2) by Candice Blake

Remy by the Sea is the second installment in the Men of the Atlantic series, it can be read as a standalone but the characters from the first book are mentioned.

Remy was first mentioned in the first novel as a friend of one of the MC's of the first book. I do love the May/December trope and this has quite a big age gap between the two MC's.

Remy and Mateo meet in France as Remy and his crew are getting ready to head out on a 3-month long crab fishing excursion. When Mateo ends up with a job on the ship neither of them expects what is going to come next.

This is a wonderful second installment in the Men of the Atlantic series by a wonderful author. Can't wait to see what is next for the Men of the Atlantic.

Prophesy (The King & Alpha Series book 1) by A.E. Via

This book gave me such a hangover, which just added to the one I already had. I took every chance I had to read this book.

This is A.E. Via's first journey into writing paranormal, and it was a huge success in my opinion. I did not want this book to end, and really can't wait for the next book in the series.

I really loved that this doesn't follow the normal paranormal mates story line and that brought out the characters personalities so much that it made the story that much better.

I don't want to give anything away so all I will say is that this book is amazing and I look forward to everything coming from A.E., she amazes me every time I read one of her books.

Survivor by T.M. Smith

I really loved this book with all the twists it took. There were quite a few things that I didn't see coming in this book that made it that much better.

I like the age gap between the two MC's as its only 10 years but it's enough for Frank to try and say that he is too old for Taylor. But with some persistence, Taylor is successful in getting Frank.

I really don't want to give anything away so all I will say is that I loved this book and that once you read it you will too.

One More by Daisy May

I really liked this book to the point where I didn't want to put it down and read the entire book in one sitting.

I really like the fact that it seems like a scenario that could happen with an established couple finding someone that they didn't realize they were looking for.

The other thing that makes this good, is that they don't just automatically have a stable relationship, they have some problems with communication, and self-doubt, and many things that happen in real people. Relationships take work, especially between 3 people, and this book shows that.

There are also some very cute parts of the book, that help with all of the seriousness and lightens the mood.

Choices and Changes by TM Smith All Cocks Book 7

I truly don't understand how the author keeps making this series better and better. I don't know that I would say that this is my favorite of the series, but it is up there in my top favorites.

Life is unpredictable and that is what Dean and Adam, Dusty and David learn most in this book. One moment everything is fine and the next anything can happen.

Second chances and love and life are rare and need to be cherished, which is exactly what Adam and Dean have.

Adam has spent years being married to his work after his partner of ten years succumbs to his deadly disease, while Dean is freshly divorced from his wife after realizing that they are no longer in love with each other.

This story is very well written, I read it in the matter of a few hours, I just did not want to put it down. And I can't wait for the next one already.

A Royal Promise by Elaine White

I don't think I have the words to describe how wonderful it was to catch up with all of the characters from the first book, but also meet friends new and old.

This book is actually multiple stories, catching up with some of the original characters from A Royal Craving, and adding in some wonderful new additions to the people that Spencer and Prosper call family.

As their family expands, by blood and by people they love coming back to them, or just by adding new friends, they of course, run into some problems.

But who wants a life without a little bit of adventure?

This is a follow-up book and should not be read without having first read A Royal Craving,

Jay to December: A Men of the Atlantic Novel by Candice Blake

I just love May/December romances, and this one was no different. I just fell in love with both Jay and Dylan from the beginning.

I love when I read a book and I feel like I am there with the characters and that is what I felt reading this book.

When reading this I did not want to put it down. I was reading this book whenever and wherever I got the chance to.

I am seriously in love with these characters and can't wait to see what this author has in store for this series.

Broken: Beautiful Monsters Vol. III by Jex Lane

This is one of those books that has me thinking about the characters and all the loose ends left for days after I have finished the book. I am writing this after only just finishing reading the book and I already know that my brain will be in the Beautiful Monsters universe for a few days reeling at everything that the author threw at me in the last few chapters.

This is another very emotional book by Ms. Lane, as the first book in this series had me in quite a funk while reading because she is that good at making the reader feel what the characters are feeling.

This book had me wanting to throw it at the wall and not put it down at the same time with all the twists and turns that the author threw at Matthew.

This is a great addition to the Beautiful Monsters series, and I already cannot wait for the next book!!!

Incoming (Veterans Affairs Book 1) by A. E. Wasp

This is a very well written story and I absolutely loved this book.

One of the things that I liked most about this book was the reality of dealing with PTSD in soldiers and how Troy said that he was fine. A lot of military veterans end up with PTSD and say that they are fine and resist treatment because they didn't lose a limb or their life while fighting a war like some of their friends and comrades, but they do have scars that may or may not be visible.

I did not want to put this book down just because I wanted to make sure that everyone was going to be okay in the end, and end up the way I was hoping they would.

I also liked that the secondary characters didn't feel like secondary characters to me, that they were as much a part of the story as the MC's Dmitri and Troy were.
