Sire: Beautiful Monsters Vol. II by Jex Lane

This book is just as amazing as the first book if not more. When I started reading I got through more than the first half of the book in just a few hours and did not want to put it down, but sleep is important.

After that I was finding time any where I could to read even just a little bit more. I don't normally read on my phone but with this book I was.

I really loved the additional characters in this book and the dynamic it gave the book. This book is a bit different as Matthew was not a prisoner in this book like he was in the first one. But he was not released in the last book, he was rescued. Which means that the incubi are trying to capture him again for High King Malarath as he believes that Matthew does not deserve his freedom and that he is property.

In this book Matthew finds out who his sire and biological mother are, but I don't want to spoil that so you will have to read the book to find out those answers we have all been "patiently" waiting for.

Matthew can't catch a break in life, one thing after the other is going against Matthew until the end of the book. And the story line is amazing at throwing these things at Matthew.

I absolutely can not wait for the next book in the series to come out in 2017!

Army Brat by Lisa Wilde

My first reaction to this book is just "WOW!" I loved this book so much that I didn't want to put it down.

I loved that this book touched on what gay military members went through before DADT was repealed, and I applaud Ms. Wilde in doing her research about the fact.

I also loved that the relationship between the MC's Jordan, and Truman "Tru" was done so well. The instant chemistry with a good build up to a full relationship as both Jordan and Tru knew what could happen if they were to be found out.

With a homophobic father and Army General anything could happen when mistakes are made and hearts are put on the line.

I really don't have any more words because I loved this book so much and just don't know what to say other than this is a must read!!

Though I must warn any who do read to be ready with a box of tissues as I was crying toward the end. I would recommend this book to just about everyone.
