This wasn't my first book by this author and it won't be the
last.
Sam is a wolf shifter, undergraduate student at Waters Shifter
College studying shifter archeology.
Stephen is the hunky professor, which Sam needs a
recommendation from to get into graduate school.
I love the way that Sam and Stephen's relationship develops.
They don't just give in the first time they lay eyes on each other...which
would be weird if they did because it's in class. They build a friendship
working closely after Stephen picks Sam as his student to be his assistant on
his next dig. And Stephen doesn't just pick Sam because he likes him; he is
genuinely the best candidate for the job.
After spending so much time together alone, they just can't
deny their mutual attraction.
Sam didn't think that he could love another after a tragic
accident takes away his best friend and fated mate.
But after one night that is against school policy, Sam has
to decide whether he can be with another person other than who he imagined
spending forever with for the sake of the child inside of him.
After a while Sam realizes that his fated mate would want
him to be happy, and not alone like he had been since the accident.
Soon attraction turns to love and all that matters is the
three of them.
